Want an experience that truly connects you to the food on the table?  Then mark your calendars for June 23 and make plans to attend our first Dinner on the Dairy that features fresh, local produce and products from our friends and neighbors.


You've probably heard of Farm to Table dinners, but we are taking it one step further with our "Farmer at the Table" dinner.  Our goal is to provide you with an opportunity to not only eat fresh, local food but to create a relationship with the farmers, roaster and chef who grew, produced, raised, roasted and prepared the food on the table. 


Your experience starts with an intimate walking tour of the dairy farm and finishes under the old stable where local beer and wine await you to wet your whistle.  Sample locally made goat cheeses from Goats R' Us while you wait to be seated for your 3 course family style meal with the farmers, roaster and chef who put it all on the table.  Chef Graham Remocaldo from Lamplighter Roasting Co in Richmond, VA will work his magic using chicken and vegetables from Whippoorwill Farms CSA, located in Burkeville, VA and Tomten Farm CSA located in Green Bay, VA.  


No meal on this farm would be complete without Grandma Jones' famous homemade yeast rolls and Grandma's Molasses for those who want a true Jones Family dinner experience.  Be sure to save room for grilled local peaches and homemade ice cream for a taste of what's to come from our future creamery.
